Tour Description
Discover three beautiful nearby islands on this fun, half-day shared small-group speedboat tour from Zadar: tiny Ošljak, charming Preko village on Ugljan, and the peaceful Galevac Franciscan monastery. Enjoy local food tasting, organic olive oil & regional wine, swimming & snorkeling in turquoise bays – a perfect mix of nature, culture, and authentic Croatian flavors.
Meeting Point: Jazine Harbour, Marina Zadar. Board our modern, comfortable speedboat and depart with scenic views of Zadar’s old city walls (12th–16th centuries), the Greeting to the Sun, and the famous Sea Organ – hear its wave-powered music as we cruise past.
First Stop: Ošljak Island
The smallest inhabited island in Croatia (~0.39 km², ~30 residents). Walk the entire island in ~20 minutes! Swim or snorkel in crystal-clear waters (gear provided), relax on the beach, and learn about its protected nature status and long history.
Next: Preko Village on Ugljan Island
Speed to Preko on larger, beautiful Ugljan. See medieval buildings, small shops, and cozy cafes. Short walk (own expense for snacks/ice cream) to a lovely turquoise bay near Galevac. Hear stories of local island life past and present.
Special Visit: Galevac Island & Franciscan Monastery
Cross by traditional wooden boat to tiny Galevac. Visit the peaceful 15th-century Franciscan Monastery of St. Paul the Hermit. Explore the island and hear about its historic library and monastic past.
Free Time & Tasting in Preko Area
Return to Preko for free time: swim in turquoise bays, relax on beaches, or enjoy local drinks (own expense). Then head to a nearby village for a special tasting hosted by a local fisherman’s family – fresh seafood, high-quality organic olive oil, and regional wine. Learn about traditional preparation methods.
